September 2018- Out on manoeuvres

The tour with the ever-marvellous Rezillos continues apace! Following excellent evenings playing to packed houses in Preston, Leeds and Bristol, the London gig at the 229 club was completely sold-out with both bands delivering blistering sets. June 2018- Pete “Joyless” Jones website and film update

We are pleased to announce the launch of the on-line presence of songwriter, author, producer, all round good egg and Department S bassist Pete “Joyless”Jones. Covering the chequered life and times of this legendary character from his times in Public Image Ltd, Brian Brain and Cowboys International right up to his current shenanigans with Department S the site is a fantastic mine of information and his frequent updates/musings on all manner of things in the life of Jones is a regular rollicking riotous read. Check out Pete’s reactions to seeing Pil play live for the first time since he played with them and being reunited with Mr Rotten after a 30-odd year period at the recent 100 Club gig- it’s a hoot! Also worthy of your attention whilst we consider all things Jones is Pete’s recent appearance in the new warts ‘n’ all Public Image Ltd documentary “The Public Image Is Rotten”. January 2018

Following a great 2017 of gigging up and down the UK and across Europe, the group are planning upcoming manouevres. Well, it’s been a while since the critically acclaimed “When All Is Said and All Is Done” was released and the new singles/best of album “45 Revolutions” is going down a treat with fans old and new. But new material is always bubbling away in the Department S secret bunker, so keep your ear to the ground for new songs being added to the set with a view to future releases.
